Clusters are before school or after school interest-driven, cross-grade, term opportunities to dabble in topics that intrigue students. Physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social opportunities will be presented for students to attend as they desire and are available.
Clusters are offered Monday/Wednesday/Friday before school, and Tuesday/Thursday after school, with a late bus accommodating the after school cluster opportunities.
If you are interested in leading or participating in a cluster, or have any questions, please contact MCI Principal Londa Backlund at [email protected].
Cluster options for the current school year will be updated below, as available.
Two string ensembles will meet, alternating weeks, on Mondays from 8 a.m.-8:30 a.m. in the chapel. The first ensemble, those with 2-5 years experience, will meet Monday, September 16th. The second ensemble, those playing at a Grade 8+ level, will begin the following Monday, September 23 from 8 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Thank you, Mrs. Regehr, for using your teaching and musical gifts to lead these opportunities.
Begins Tuesday, September 17.
This is a time for anyone (not just art students), to spend some time on individual art projects. How that looks is largely up to you! Myself and the art room, and its materials, will be made available to you. If you want to work on an existing art project, try something new, pick my brain about something (want a little mini lesson on portraiture? Cartooning? etc?), I invite you to come chat with me if you are interested.
