Mennonite Collegiate Institute, located in Gretna, Manitoba is a provincially accredited independent Anabaptist Christian high school (Gr. 9-12). 2024-2025 Faculty

Required Qualifications

Successful candidates will:

  • Pending the position: hold a Manitoba Teacher’s Certificate, or have a Bachelor’s Degree in their field/Vocational Training to obtain a Limited Teaching Permit.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset in their personal and professional life
  • Value team and community contributions
  • Sign MCI’s Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct
  • Submit a clear Background Check and Child Abuse Registry
  • The ability to contribute to co-curricular programs, including athletics or musical theatre production is an asset.

Positions Available

2024-2025 Faculty Positions:

  • Part-time, term contract (with the possibility of developing into a full-time, permanent contract) as Theater Tech Faculty from Sept 3, 2024-June 27, 2025.
  • Part-time, term contract (with the possibility of developing into a full-time, permanent contract) as English Language Arts Faculty from Sept 3, 2024-June 27, 2025.
  • Part-time, term contract (with the possibility of developing into a full-time, permanent contract) as Biology 40S Faculty from Feb 3, 2025-June 27, 2025.
  • An applicant willing to combine the above part-time needs could be hired as a full-time, term contract.

Substitute Teacher
