The Basics

  1. ENTRIES: 
    Instagram:
    Participants must Follow @mciblues and Tag 2 Friends in the comment section of the giveaway photo. For extra entries, participants can tag additional friends, each additional friend (3rd, 4th, 5th, etc), will be another entry in the draw.

Facebook:
Participants must Tag 2 Friends in the comment section of the giveaway photo. For extra entries, participants can tag additional friends, each additional friend (3rd, 4th, 5th, etc), will be another entry in the draw.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: Participants who participate on will receive separate entries if they use both Facebook and Instagram.

  1. CONTEST DATES: The contest runs from March 5, 2019 to March 6, 2019 at 5:00pm CST. All entries after 5:00pm on March 6th will NOT be included in the draw.   The winners will be notified immediately following the draw at 5:00pm on Wednesday March 6th.
  1. WINNER SELECTION: Three prize winners will be drawn on Wednesday March 5th at 5:00pm CST by the MCI Admissions team. Winners will be announced on Facebook, and on our @mciblues Instagram Story.
  2. PRIZES: Three luck winners will receive… Two tickets to see Tuck Everlasting on the night of your choice & an MCI Toque!

General Conditions and Legal Stuff

  1. NOT ENDORSED BY FACEBOOK OR INSTAGRAM: By participating in this contest, you acknowledge that this contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram, and release Facebook and Instagram from any and all liability arising from or related to this contest. The information you are providing for this contest is being provided to Mennonite Collegiate Institute and not to Facebook or Instagram.
  2. CONDUCT: All contest participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Mennonite Collegiate Institute, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person it finds to be tampering with the entry process, the operation of its website, or is otherwise in violation of these rules.

    All contest participants must ensure that all comments/captions are not defamatory, trade libelous, pornographic or obscene, and further that it will not contain, include, discuss or involve, without limitation, any of the following: nudity; alcohol/drug consumption or smoking; explicit or graphic sexual activity, or sexual innuendo; crude, vulgar or offensive language and/or symbols; derogatory characterizations of any ethnic, racial, sexual, religious or other groups; content that endorses, condones and/or discusses any illegal, inappropriate or risky behavior or conduct; personal information of individuals, including, without limitation, names, telephone numbers and addresses (physical or electronic); commercial messages, comparisons or solicitations for products or services; any identifiable third party products, trade-marks, brands and/or logos, other than those of Mennonite Collegiate Institute; conduct or other activities in violation of these Official Rules; and/or any other content that is or could be considered inappropriate, unsuitable or offensive, all as determined by Mennonite Collegiate Institute in its sole and absolute discretion. Comments/captions deemed inappropriate, unsuitable or offensive, will be deleted and considered as ineligible as a contest entry.

  3. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Mennonite Collegiate Institute is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected email, or for any computer, online, telephone, or technical malfunctions that may occur. If for any reason, the draw is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort, MCI may cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the draw. Entrants further agree to release MCI from any liability resulting from, or related to participation in the draw.
  4. PRIVACY: Any personal information we acquire through the entry process will not be submitted to any third party organization. Only the winner’s name may be published on our website or social media channels.
