New Student Spring Incentive

Rules & Regulations

  • QUALIFYING: Any individual that meets the educational requirements to attend high school in Manitoba is eligible. To qualify for this promotion, students must submit their application form AND tuition deposit on/or before 11:59pm CST, March 24th, 2023.

Any NEW student applying at any point between February 14th to March 24th, 2023 will qualify for this promotion. (*NEW – Any student that is NOT enrolled in the 2022-23 school year at MCI will be considered a new student.) 

  • PROMOTION DATES: Applicants for this promotion will only be accepted until 11:59pm CST, Friday, March 24th, 2023. Applications will be accepted by email and/or by mail on/or before March 24th, 2023. All applications being sent by mail, must be postmarked by March 24th, 2023. The recipient of Free 2023-24 tuition will be selected by a randomized draw. The draw will be made at 11:00am CST on April 24, 2023. Each applicant will have equal to 1 entry placed in the draw.

Early Bird Incentive

  • FREE YEAR TUITION: Each NEW applicant will have equal to 1 entry placed in the draw. The recipient of Free 2023-24 Manitoba student tuition will be selected by a randomized draw. The draw will be made at 11:00am CST on April 24th, 2023.
  • FREE MONTH TUITION: Each NEW applicant will be eligible to receive free tuition, based on meeting MCI’s acceptance requirements, and have been attending MCI for all of September 2023. This will be reflected in each student’s Payment Plan. Funds will be applied directly to their student account in November 2023.

Each applicant/student will be eligible to receive their designated amount, based on meeting MCI’s acceptance requirements, and their presence at MCI for the first day of classes for the 2023/24 school year. Funds for the Free Year Tuition will be applied directly to their student account before September 2023. Funds for the Free Month Tuition will be applied to their student account in November, 2023.

  2. CONDUCT: All applicants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Mennonite Collegiate Institute, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person it finds to be tampering with the entry process, the operation of its website, or is otherwise in violation of these rules. All promotion participants must ensure that all comments/captions are not defamatory, trade libelous, pornographic or obscene, and further that it will not contain, include, discuss or involve, without limitation, any of the following: nudity; alcohol/drug consumption or smoking; explicit or graphic sexual activity, or sexual innuendo; crude, vulgar or offensive language and/or symbols; derogatory characterizations of any ethnic, racial, sexual, religious or other groups; content that endorses, condones and/or discusses any illegal, inappropriate or risky behavior or conduct; personal information of individuals, including, without limitation, names, telephone numbers and addresses (physical or electronic); commercial messages, comparisons or solicitations for products or services; any identifiable third party products, trade-marks, brands and/or logos, other than those of Mennonite Collegiate Institute; conduct or other activities in violation of these Official Rules; and/or any other content that is or could be considered inappropriate, unsuitable or offensive, all as determined by Mennonite Collegiate Institute in its sole and absolute discretion. Comments/captions deemed inappropriate, unsuitable or offensive, will be deleted and considered as ineligible as a contest entry. 
  3. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Mennonite Collegiate Institute is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected mail and/or email, or for any computer, online, telephone, or technical malfunctions that may occur. If for any reason, the draw is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort, MCI may cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the draw. Entrants further agree to release MCI from any liability resulting from, or related to, participation in the draw. 
  4. PRIVACY: Any personal information we acquire through the entry process will not be submitted to any third-party organization. Only the winner’s name may be published on our website or social media channels.
